Week 3
The plan for this week was to get our project to a point where the pi would be ready to send out coordinates to the computer, and for the area to be mapped. We also wanted to have the body of the robot laser cut by the end of the lab. However, we ran into some issues with this, as the man in charge of operating the laser cutter was not in, and therefore that would have to be postponed. We ran into some trouble, with the raspberry pi crashing mid download, but we at the very least managed to successfully test the motor and connect up the motor control board, although we ran into some issues with the motor control board aswell. We tested saving some information from the camera to a computer and we will work on modelling a representation of the video and completing the code over the next week in preparation for the next lab.
